Eni Starts Production of Cinguvu Offshore Field at West Hub Development in Angola

Eni started production two weeks ahead of schedule at the Cinguvu oil field, from the West Hub Development Project in Block 15/06 in the Angolan Deep Offshore, approximately 350 kilometres northwest of Luanda and 130 kilometres west of Soyo. The start-up follows the achievement of West Hub’s first oil through Sangos field start-up, during last November 2014.

Caracal Announces First Sales of Crude Oil from Badila Field

Caracal Energy Inc. ("Caracal" or the "Company") (LSE:CRCL) today announced that the first shipment of Badila oil for export sales has been loaded at the Kribi sea terminal offshore Cameroon. Total cargo size of the lifting was approximately 950,000 barrels of oil, and Caracal's net entitlement share was 560,000 barrels of oil. Caracal's partner, GlencoreXtrata plc ("Glencore"), was entitled to the balance of the cargo. 

Oryx Petroleum Corporation Limited Announces Testing Confirms Discovery Offshore Congo (Brazzaville)

Oryx Petroleum Corporation Limited (“Oryx Petroleum” or the “Corporation”) today announced that the testing of the E-1 exploration well targeting the Elephant prospect in the Haute Mer A license area in Congo (Brazzaville) confirmed the discovery of natural gas and crude oil previously announced in September 2013. Oryx Petroleum has a 20% participating and working interest in the Haute Mer A license area. 

CAMAC Energy Announces Rig Contract for West Africa Drilling Program

CAMAC Energy Inc. (“CAMAC”) (NYSE MKT: CAK) announced today that a long-term drilling contract has been signed with Northern Offshore Ltd. (OSLO: NOF.OL) for the drillship Energy Searcher.  The rig is expected to be delivered to the Oyo Field in OML 120 offshore Nigeria to commence drilling activities in the first half of 2014.  The signed agreement covers an initial period of one year, with an option to extend the contract for an additional one-year.  The Company plans to utilize the rig on its multi-year, high-impact development and exploration portfolio.

2D Seismic Acquisition Programme Commenced in Southern Block 2714B Offshore Namibia

Chariot Oil & Gas Limited (AIM: CHAR), the Atlantic margins focused oil and gas exploration company is pleased to announce that it has commenced a 2D seismic survey in Southern Block 2714B offshore Namibia, which was re-awarded to the Company in June 2013 (Chariot 85%, Operator, with NAMCOR and Quiver Oil holding a 10% and 5% carried interest respectively). The Company has contracted Dolphin Geophysical Ltd. ("Dolphin") to carry out a 2,128 km 2D seismic acquisition campaign in water depths ranging from 150m to 1,850m.

Fastnet Executes Farmout Agreement for Foum Assaka Contract Area, offshore Morocco

FMC Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: FTI) announced today that it has received an order from Tullow Ghana Limited to supply subsea systems for its Tweneboa-Enyenra-Ntomme Development (TEN Project) offshore Ghana. The order has an estimated value of $340 million in revenue.
