ERHC Energy reaches Agreement with Kosmos for Block 11, São Tomé and Principe EEZ

ERHC Energy Inc. (OTCMKTS: ERHE), a publicly traded American company with oil and gas assets in Sub-Saharan Africa announced today that it has reached an agreement with Kosmos Energy (NYSE: KOS), a leading independent oil and gas exploration and production company focused on frontier and emerging areas to transfer all ERHC's rights to Block 11 of the São Tomé and Principe Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) to Kosmos.

ERHC Energy Inc. (OTCBB: ERHE), a publicly traded American company with oil and gas assets in Sub-Saharan Africa, today announced that ongoing interpretation of 2D seismic data on Kenya Block 11A reveals the presence of several viable leads, some with closures of up to 20 square kilometers.

Kenya Block 11A 2D Seismic Survey Completed

ERHC Energy Inc. (OTCBB: ERHE), a publicly traded American company with oil and gas assets in Sub-Saharan Africa, today announced the successful completion of a major 2D seismic acquisition program of Block 11A in the Republic of Kenya. BGP acquired seismic data over approximately 1,000 line kilometers on behalf of ERHC and its operating partner, CEPSA Kenya Limited (a wholly owned affiliate of Compañía Española de Petróleos, S.A.U. (CEPSA)), completing the work program requirements for the initial two-year exploration period under terms of the Block 11A Production Sharing Contract.

ERHC Energy Inc. ERHC Energy Inc. Completes Farm-Out to CEPSA - Kenya

ERHC Energy Inc. (OTCBB: ERHE), a publicly traded American company with oil and gas assets in Sub-Saharan Africa, is pleased to announce the completion of its farm-out agreement with CEPSA (Compañía Española de Petróleos, S.A.U.), an international integrated oil and gas company.  The completion of the farm-out follows the receipt of final regulatory approvals from the Kenyan Government.   

ERHC Energy Inc Awards Contract for 2D Seismic Survey in Kenya Block 11A

ERHC Energy Inc. (OTCBB: ERHE), a publicly traded American company with oil and gas assets in Sub-Saharan Africa, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, ERHC Energy Kenya Limited, has awarded BGP Kenya Limited a contract to conduct a 2D seismic survey of Block 11A in northwestern Kenya.  ERHC intends the seismic survey to commence in early spring.

ERHC Energy Inc. (OTCBB: ERHE), a publicly traded American company with oil and gas assets in Sub-Saharan Africa, has completed its airborne Full Tensor Gravity Gradiometry (FTG) survey of Block 11A in northwestern Kenya. Bell Geospace, which flew the FTG on ERHC's behalf, acquired a total 14,943.8 line kilometers. 

ERHC Energy Inc. Completes Environmental Impact Assessment on Block BDS 2008 in Chad

ERHC Energy Inc. (OTCQB: ERHE), a publicly traded American company with oil and gas assets in Sub-Saharan Africa, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, ERHC Energy Chad Ltd., has submitted its completed Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of Block BDS 2008 to the government of the Republic of Chad. Once review of the EIA is completed, ERHC can advance to the next step in its oil and gas exploration work program: an aeromagnetic survey of BDS 2008.

ERHC Energy Inc. (OTCBB: ERHE), a publicly traded American company with oil and gas assets in Sub-Saharan Africa, today announced initial encouraging results from an airborne Full Tensor Gravity Gradiometry (FTG) survey. Bell Geospace, a world leader in gravity gradiometry, is flying the FTG on behalf of ERHC's wholly owned subsidiary, ERHC Energy Kenya Ltd. When completed in a few weeks, the survey will have covered up to 15,500 line kilometers.

(OTCBB: ERHE), a publicly traded American company with oil and gas assets in Sub-Saharan Africa, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, ERHC Energy Kenya Ltd., has commenced an airborne Full Tensor Gravity Gradiometry (FTG) survey of Block 11A in northwestern Kenya. The FTG survey, which aids significantly in the structural mapping of prospective hydrocarbon basins, will encompass up to 15,500 line kilometers.
