Africa Oil Receives Kenyan Government Approval of Maersk Oil Farm In

Africa Oil Corp. ("Africa Oil" or the "Company") is pleased to report that the previously announced (November 9, 2015) farmout with Maersk Olie og Gas A/S ("Maersk") has received approval from the Government of Kenya. Accordingly, completion of the farmout of Blocks 10BB, 13T and 10BA may proceed.

Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX) confirmed today that its subsidiary, Chevron Overseas (Congo) Limited, and partners have started production from the deepwater development Moho Bilondo Phase 1b offshore the Republic of Congo. 

Eni and Anadarko set the unitization of Area 4 and 1 in the Rovuma Basin offshore Mozambique

Eni and Anadarko announce that, following the signing of the Unitization and Unit Operating Agreement (UUOA) and in full agreement with all the concessionaries of the projects, a unitization was set out for the development of natural gas reservoirs straddling Areas 4 and 1 in the Rovuma Basin, offshore Mozambique. Area 4 is operated by Eni East Africa while Area 1 is operated by Anadarko Mozambique Area 1 Ltd.

Anadarko Achieves New Mozambique LNG Milestones

Anadarko Petroleum Corporation  (NYSE: APC) today announced that, along with the concessionaires of Offshore Area 1 (operated by Anadarko Mozambique Area 1 Ltd. (AMA1)) and Offshore Area 4 (operated by  Eni East Africa  (EEA)), it has signed a Unitization and Unit Operating Agreement (UUOA) for the development of the massive natural gas resources that straddle the two blocks.

Eco Atlantic Completes Acquisition Of Interest And Commences Operations In Cape Three Points West Offshore Block In Ghana

Eco (Atlantic) Oil & Gas Ltd. Equatorial Guinea’s National Gas Company Opens Negotiations for LPG Purchase

The Ministry of Mines, Industry and Energy of Equatorial Guinea has announced that national gas company SONAGAS (http://SONAGAS-ge.com) will begin marketing the State’s share of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) produced at the Alba Plant, on Bioko Island. SONAGAS has now opened negotiations with offtakers and will begin marketing its LPG production stake to international buyers from January 1, 2016.

Engen Powers Construction of Reunion’s €1.6bn Highway Over the Sea

Engen, the energy multinational, has won a 960 000 tender to provide fuel to the mega construction project to build Reunion’s New La Nouvelle Route du Littora, a 12km long “highway over the sea” that will connect the island’s two biggest cities – Saint Denis and La Possession - as well as the Port and Roland Garros Airport, on its completion in 2018.
