Eco Atlantic Completes Acquisition Of Interest And Commences Operations In Cape Three Points West Offshore Block In Ghana

Eco (Atlantic) Oil & Gas Ltd. ("Eco Atlantic" or the "Company") (TSX-V:EOG), is pleased to announce that the Ghana Petroleum Commission has granted a Permit to Operate as an Upstream Petroleum Exploration and Production Company to the Company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Eco Atlantic (Ghana) Limited enabling the Company to immediately commence operations. Eco Atlantic has thus completed the previously announced acquisition of an interest in the Deepwater Cape Three Points West Block, located in the Tano Cape Three Points Basin, offshore Ghana (the “Block”) and commences operations. The Company is the majority interest holder of the Block and has been designated the Operator.

Equatorial Guinea’s National Gas Company Opens Negotiations for LPG Purchase

The Ministry of Mines, Industry and Energy of Equatorial Guinea has announced that national gas company SONAGAS (http://SONAGAS-ge.com) will begin marketing the State’s share of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) produced at the Alba Plant, on Bioko Island. SONAGAS has now opened negotiations with offtakers and will begin marketing its LPG production stake to international buyers from January 1, 2016.

Africa Oil Announces Farm-Out Deal With Maersk Oil for Kenya and Ethiopia Blocks

Africa Oil Corp. Swala Awards Drill Support Contract

BP to accelerate development of first phase of Atoll field in Egypt

BP today announced that it has signed a Heads of Agreement (HoA) with the Egyptian Minister of Petroleum, His Excellency Eng. Tarek El Molla, regarding the acceleration of the development of the recent Atoll gas discovery. The Atoll discovery (BP 100%) in the North Damietta Offshore Concession in the East Nile Delta, offshore Egypt was announced in March 2015.

SNE2 First Appraisal Well Starts Drilling Offshore Senegal

The first appraisal well to be drilled on the SNE oil field located 100km offshore Senegal has been spudded. The SNE-2 well will be drilled in approximately 1,100 metres of water and drilled to a TDVSS (total vertical depth subsea) of approximately 2,770 metres before an evaluation program including logging, coring and flow testing is undertaken.

Chevron Announces First Production from the Lianzi Development Offshore the Republic of Congo and Angola

Eni, together with Statoil, Sasol and ENH, have been awarded a new exploration block in the offshore of Mozambique

Eni, together with Statoil, Sasol and ENH, have been awarded, following the 5th Competitive Mozambique Bid Round,  the exploration and development rights of the offshore block  A5-A, in the area of Mozambique named Angoche,  about 1,500 kilometers northeast of the capital city  Maputo. The block, which covers a total area of di 5,145 square kilometers in a water depth between 200 and 1800 meters, is placed within an unexplored area of the Northern Zambesi Basin, which the consortium estimate to contain significant hydrocarbon resources.
