PW Power Systems to Provide La Société Algérienne de Production de l'Electricité with 20 FT8® MOBILEPAC® Turbogenerators

PW Power Systems, Inc. (PWPS), a group company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd., announced today a contract with La Société Algérienne de Production de l'Electricité (SPE), a subsidiary of Sonelgaz, to provide 20 FT8® MOBILEPAC® units for four locations in Algeria. SPE is a state-owned entity that is responsible for electricity generation throughout Algeria. The contract also includes fuel systems, demineralized water systems, mobile self-cleaning inlet air systems, black start generators and strategic spare components.

APR Energy Announces New 40MW Mobile Gas Turbine Contract in Angola

APR Energy, a global leader in fast-track power solutions, today announces it has signed a new contract to provide fast-track power in Angola. Featuring GE mobile gas turbines, the deal represents APR's first turbine project in sub-Saharan Africa, and quickly follows the GE strategic alliance announced in October. The contract will bring APR's total footprint in Angola to 80MW, and supplements the existing 40MW contract for diesel power modules, which was announced this week to renew for another 12-month period.

Transnet Unveils R15,5bn Fuel Contract For Black And Women-Owned Fuel Suppliers

Public Enterprises Minister, Mr Malusi Gigaba, today announced that Transnet SOC Ltd awarded its contract for the supply of fuel for the next five years to nine black and womenowned companies following a competitive process. The award, valued at just over R15,5 billion, is the single biggest contract for services or goods for the state-owned company to date.

Presidential Visit and Launch of Gaz du Cameroun

Sasol, GE Develop New Water Technology, Boosting Gas-to-Liquids (GTL) Value Proposition

Sasol and General Electric (NYSE: GE)'s GE Power & Water have together developed new water technology that will clean waste water, while also providing biogas as a by-product for power generation. This new technology, known as Anaerobic Membrane Bioreactor Technology (AnMBR), will be further developed at a new demonstration plant at Sasol's R&D Campus at its Sasol One Site in Sasolburg.

In parallel, Clarke Energy has been awarded the status of Jenbacher gas engines distributor and service provider in South Africa, Mozambique and Botswana.
